The
Nursery is for our youngest children, aged from two and a
half, and is located on the ground floor of the castle with
direct access to a large outside terrace complete with playhouses
and wet play equipment. There is also access to an enclosed
grassed area within the school’s extensive grounds that
is well equipped with slides, see-saws, other outdoor play
equipment and of course, a Wendy house! Once your child reaches
4 years, learning begins to be more formally structured, practising
letters and numbers combined with whole class learning. This
approach successfully provides a stepping stone to the Reception
class. Interaction with home to support our current learning
topics is always welcomed.
